Creative Moon Banner
Five Short Poems About Sex
Swoon
When we kiss
Angels swoon.
The moon burns.
Heaven drips.
God is young again.

Seed
As you try to impregnate me with
your sweet ointment,
the seed lingers, searching
desperately for the fertile vessel
that would duplicate you in me.

Seagulls
When we make love
on the beach, seagulls
land and form a circle
around us, then spread
their wings to shield us
from view.

Satin
Your skin melts
into the satin
covering my bed.
I reach for a handful
of you but grasp
a wet pillowcase instead.

Smooth
I’ll cuddle up against
your furry chest
if you’ll cuddle up against
my Smooth One.
